Change is brewing at PROBAT!

Lincolnshire, IL -- PROBAT AG is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Stouffer as its new Chief Sales Officer. Stouffer has over 30 years of experience in food plant design, process development, process optimization, and maintenance. For the past 14 years, he has held the position of Vice President at PROBAT, Inc. “Scott Stouffer will continue the tradition established by PROBAT Sales Directors Ingo Binzen and Dirk Brinker to translate and execute our customers’ visions by utilizing the well-established expertise, current technology, and know-how of PROBAT,” the company’s CEO Wim Abbing comments. “We expect significant synergies in our global business activities leveraged by the work of this newly established triple team.”

Probat Inc. is also pleased to announce that Joe Navin has joined the team in Lincolnshire, IL as the Senior Vice President of Sales and Service. Joe will also lead all Burns international sales activities. Navin comes to Probat with a wealth of industry experience, having previously held titles ranging from Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain at Mother Parkers Tea and Coffee, to Vice President of Supply Chain for Tata Global Beverage, as well as several high-profile coffee consulting positions.

In addition, Probat Inc. is pleased to announce the following changes made to our sales and service team in order to further enhance customer experience:

Reyes Tellez, formerly our Shop Roaster Sales and Spare Parts Sales Manager has been promoted to Purchasing Manager for Probat Inc. His knowledge of our systems and parts will be invaluable in this new role. We are confident in his ability to improve this function and drive down our costs so we can continue to offer increased value to our customers.  

Jon Morris will move into our Spare Parts Sales role for Probat Spare Parts. Jon has a combined 10 years’ experience as a Probat Shop Technician and Senior Service Manager. The application of Jon’s in-depth knowledge of our machines to this spare parts role will be met with great enthusiasm by the entire team here in Lincolnshire.

We are pleased to announce Jake LaPres will take over Shop Roaster Sales in addition to his sales engineering role. For the past two years, Jake has thrived in the role of Sales Engineer where he has supported our key account managers through the development of flow diagrams, cost analyses and proposals. We are confident that Jake will excel in his new role, given both his extensive engineering knowledge along with his customer facing experience.

Probat Inc. has also formed an Aftersales Service Team earlier in 2022 to further improve the customer experience.  This team includes Scott Lundry (Service Manager), Paul Pyrich (After Sales Service Manager), and Angel Dominguez (Service Technician).  Our Aftersales Team has been formed to ensure that our customers can find solutions throughout their entire customer journey.
